Temp to Perm Warehouse FLT Operative , for a client located in
Basingstoke.
This is a warehouse based position, responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles, picking & processing daily inbound and outbound orders for delivery throughout the UK and across Europe.
The successful candidate will be trained using 'in house' Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Warehouse FLT Operative Main Duties & Responsibilities: Preparation of daily inbound and outbound orders.
End of day cycle counting and stock control.
Working as part of an established team.
Ensure proper receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods to customers, vendors and to other sites.
Ensure that all goods during receipt, storage and despatch, are adequately packed to avoid any damages.
Assisting and checking the work of colleagues within assigned area.
Provide assistance and support to management, warehouse controller and warehouse colleagues as required.
Responsible for proper processing and maintenance of all paperwork of inbound and outbound shipments.
Ensure all work is completed on time and is in accordance with quality requirements and procedures.
Ensuring safety practices and procedures and maintaining safe working environment by identifying and correcting any existing or potential safety hazards.
Departmental housekeeping.
Warehouse FLT Operative
Applicants: Must have an accredited and in-date Counterbalance FLT License. (Articulated Pivot Steer License would be an advantage).
Must previous Counterbalance FLT experience.
Have at least 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience and knowledge of packaging standards and requirements.
Basic knowledge of administrative and logistics systems.
Good knowledge of Mechanical Handling Equipment.
Must have effective written and oral communication.
Excellent computer skills with minimum, daily use of MS Office applications as well as various business/warehouse management systems.
Candidates must be eager to learn, grow and to progress.
Able to work under own initiative, get on with others and be a team-player.
Self-driven, with a positive and flexible outlook, and a clear focus on high quality customer service.

Salary is circa. £25,500 to £26,341, working Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week).
