We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and reliable warehouse operatives to join our client's team, one of the UK's biggest and well-known retail groups. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are hardworking, committed, and looking to build a long-term career in logistics and warehousing.
As a Warehouse Operative, your daily tasks will include:
- Picking, packing, and processing orders
- Scanning and pricing stock
- Loading and unloading goods
- Labelling, sorting, and palletising items
- General warehouse cleaning and housekeeping
- Always complying with Health & Safety procedures
Salary:
- Day Shift - £12.71 per hour
- Evening Shift - up to £13.05 per hour
- Night Shift - up to £13.80 per hour
- Additional £1.00/hour for shifts starting on Saturdays or Sundays
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift 06:00 - 14:30 Rota: Any 5 from 7 (40 hours/week)
- Evening Shift 14:30 - 23:00 Rota: Any 5 from 7 (40 hours/week)
- Night Shift 21:30 - 06:00 Rota: 4 ON / 2 OFF (40 hours/week)
Additional overtime may be available during peak periods.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing/walking for long periods (5 to 8.5 hours)
- Lifting and moving items up to 25kg
- Bending, stretching, and reaching above shoulder height
- Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
- Pushing and pulling stock up to 25kg
