Baltic Recruitment are seeking a number of dedicated and detail-oriented Process Operators to join our client based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the operation and monitoring of production processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality output.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any issues or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any anomalies encountered.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions swiftly.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the production process.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Operate the counterbalance FLT as and when required.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Process Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with production processes and machinery operation is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Pay rate £12.93 - £15.17 per hour

Shifts 7am-3pm Monday to Friday (whilst being trained) After Training, 5:30am-5:30pm / 5:30pm-5:30am, 4 on 6 off (Continentals)
