Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading manufacturing organisation to assist with their search for a Site Caretaker (Site Services).
Overall Purpose: The Site Services Operative is responsible for carrying out general site maintenance and support activities, including basic repairs, building upkeep, cleanroom support, grounds maintenance, waste management, and internal deliveries.
Key Duties:
- Carry out general building maintenance including painting, minor repairs, panel work, and replacing floor tiles.
- Assemble flat-pack furniture and install fixtures such as notice boards and first aid stations.
- Change locks and handles on doors and lockers.
- Build, install, and maintain modular cleanroom tents and cleanroom tables.
- Unblock toilets and drains, repair leaking taps, plumb in appliances, and support basic plumbing tasks.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and machines, including emptying/refilling tanks and clearing blockages.
- Carry out vehicle checks and complete deliveries, collections, urgent pick-ups, and transport of mould shop tools for repair.
- Perform general routine safety and compliance checks including fire doors, fire extinguishers, ladders, and racking support.
- Maintain external areas including gutters, drains, gardens, gravel, litter picking, and car park magnet sweeping.
- Manage waste and scrap, control skips, segregate materials, and maintain nuts and bolts storage.
The Package:
- £24,790 per annum.
- Day shift role: Monday to Thursday 7:45 and 16:40 & Friday 07:45 to 12:45.
- Flexible Working is offered for this position. Employee is able to build a Flexible allowance 2 days credit/1 day deficit.
- Pension contribution 5%.
