Production Team Member - Pickering, North Yorkshire

Baltic Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading international plastic injection moulding business, who supply world class products to their global customers. This role is a genuine temp to perm position, with an increase in pay rate once probation is successfully completed. Our client has a proven track record of growing their own talent and opportunities are available to the right people from day one. Transport provided from various pick-up points in Scarborough.

Pay Rates: £12.71 (currently under review) increasing to £13.00 after 12 weeks and overtime is paid at £17.50-£18.20.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Production duties.
  • Operating press machines.
  • Assembling parts.
  • Extrusion.
  • Working within the Paint Plant.
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Quality checking.
  • Labelling and Packing.
  • Maintain good housekeeping.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety.

Requirements:

  • Reliable and committed.
  • Positive attitude to work.
  • Good English skills both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Teamwork.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Experience within a production/warehouse environment would be advantageous but not essential.

3 shift pattern: (11.40 hours per shift) Candidates must be able to work all 3 shifts on rotation.

  • Days: Wednesday to Friday 7:50am - 20.00pm - 2 rest days
  • Nights: Monday to Wednesday 19:50pm - 8:00am - 4 rest days
  • Split Shift: Monday and Tuesday 7.50am - 20.00pm 1 rest day Thursday and Friday 19:50pm - 8:00am - 4 rest days
