Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our market leading manufacturing client with their search for a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

Overall Purpose: The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for electrical engineering projects, safety, electrical maintenance and as a support mechanism to the Engineering Manager.

Key Duties:

  • Manage Safe Systems of Work and Statutory Inspections for the Plant.
  • Management of Electrical systems including DB boards.
  • Create / Maintain ATEX register.
  • Ability to fix machines on high level breakdowns and cover Engineering Manager as and when required.
  • Project management, introduce new machines and processes.
  • Electrical Panel building.
  • Represent the Engineering function in the daily production meeting.
  • Manage or assist manage a Total Productive Maintenance schedule to include Reactive, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
  • Manage the Electrical condition report.

Key Requirements:

  • Ideally hold a HNC in Electrical Engineering.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH Safety an advantage.
  • Multi-Skilled electrical (min 70%) & mechanical.
  • Experienced in working with/managing contractors.
  • 17th / 18th Edition ideally.

The Package: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience. Day shift position working Monday - Friday: 7:30 - 4:00 but there is some flexibility i.e. 8:00-4:30 as long as the person does the same times each day. 25 days Holiday + bank. Company pension scheme. Company bonus potential.
