Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a Tier 1 automotive supplier with their search for a Die Maintenance Technician to join the team on a 1 year FTC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, modifying, and optimising injection moulding tooling to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and product quality.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform reactive and planned maintenance on press and injection moulding tooling in a fast-paced production environment.
- Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose tooling failures and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet operational targets and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prioritise and manage tasks efficiently, adapting to shifting production demands.
- Operate autonomously during solo shifts, managing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and making critical decisions to maintain tooling performance without direct supervision.
Proven experience in tooling maintenance, ideally within an injection moulding environment. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a focus on long-term solutions.
1 year FTC, however potential to be taken on permanent. £47,000 - £53,000 per annum including shift allowance, dependant on experience. 3 shift pattern on rotation. Company pension scheme. 25 days holiday.
