Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a growing manufacturing company who specialise in composite materials for the aerospace and motorsport industries, in the Abingdon area. Due to sustained growth and increasing demand, they are now seeking CNC Programmers/CAD Programmers to join their experienced team and play a key role in maintaining the exceptional standards the business is known for.
The CNC/CAM Programmer will manage all areas of programming and ensure the delivery requirements are met and maintained. The company works on composite materials for the aerospace, motorsport and defence sectors, manufacturing to the highest standard and master patterns or trimming programmes for Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport & Medical.
- Reading & interpreting engineering drawings.
- Use of Fusion 360/MasterCAM programming software to produce programs for 5 axis pattern/trimming machines.
- Use Siemens software to verify CAM programs.
- Supporting the CNC operator by setting up/operating 5 Axis CNC machines.
- Reporting the program run times to support quoting.
Minimum of 5 years of 5 Axis CNC machine programming experience with working with composite materials.
The Package:
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
