Our client are an established, industry leading manufacturing business in the Cramlington area currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team. Key Duties: Attend breakdowns, identifying the fault and problem solve with minimal downtime to production whilst maintaining the highest quality of work. Carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service. Carry out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required. Perform regular tests to new and existing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, both to spot potential problems and to ensure that systems are operating at their highest possible levels of functionality. Repair Electrical Systems and act quickly to make on-the-spot repairs when electrical systems and machinery malfunction. Ability to understand, fault find & maintain PLC systems. Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required: Time served with relevant industry qualification in electrical/multi skilled engineering. Electrical bias, however multi-skilled is fine. PLC experience is a huge bonus. Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment. The Package: £52,282 per annum inclusive of shift allowance. Continental shift pattern, one week working 60 hrs(5 12 hour shifts, 2 days break in between), the next week only working only 24 hours(2 12 hour shifts) on rotation. Overtime available.
