Job Description:

- We are working with a leading international plastic injection moulding business that supplies world‑class products to global customers.
- This role is a genuine temp‑to‑perm position, with a pay increase once probation is successfully completed.
- Transport is provided from various pick‑up points in Scarborough.
- Pay Rates: £12.75 increasing to £13.26 after 12 weeks, with overtime paid at £17.75 – 18.56.
- Experience within a production/warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be given.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately operate manual or electric pallet truck to move and transport goods within a shop‑floor environment.
- Load and unload materials correctly, and support production team members.
- Understand work instructions and maintain quality levels.
- Use handheld scanners and other devices.
- Adhere to all safety procedures within the workplace.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and good hand‑eye coordination.
- Physical ability to lift and move items as needed.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with quality checking, labelling, and packing.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- Adhere to Health and Safety.
- Reliable and committed.
- Positive attitude to work.
- Good written and verbal English skills.
- Teamwork.
Working Days & Shift Schedule
Wednesday to Friday 7.50am – 20.00pm – 2 rest days
Monday to Wednesday 19.50pm – 8.00am – 4 rest days
Monday and Tuesday 7.50am – 20.00pm – 1 rest day
Thursday and Friday 19.50pm – 8.00am – 4 rest days
