Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against documentation.
- Operate forklifts (Counterbalance – B1 & B2) and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Prepare materials for storage or shipment as required.
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment, ensuring that all materials are stored correctly.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency in material handling processes.
Experience:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is highly desirable.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is a must – Counterbalance Licences.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely.
