Oxford Instruments is offering an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer Apprentice to join our collaborative team and develop real-world skills while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 4 Software Development Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Help deliver new software features and maintain existing software products.
- Investigate and fix software bugs, ensuring consistent service.
- Participate in agile development sprints, including bug triage and version control.
- Collaborate with the software team to create, review and debug code.
- Attend off-the-job training at a local college or university.
- Complete coursework, homework, and end-of-year projects on time.
- Contribute to a supportive and innovative development team environment.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
- Full-time 38 hours per week
- Hybrid working available

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in software development. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships:
