Kickstart your IT career with Spectrum IT Consultancy—a fast-growing tech company supporting schools, charities, and businesses across the UK. Founded by two passionate engineers, Spectrum offers hands-on experience in cutting-edge services like remote monitoring, cyber security, and VoIP systems.
As an IT Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and supportive environment. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will gain hands-on experience across various areas of IT, including networking, security, software development, and technical support.
In this role, you’ll work towards your IT Support Technician Level 3 apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Acting as first point of contact for client issues (support tickets) via email, phone, and in person
- Capturing and recording information required to correctly prioritize tickets
- Resolving technical tickets both at supported schools and remotely
- Escalating tickets to the next line within the SLAs
- Communicating ticket progress with customer contacts
- Advising and adhering to recommended security guidelines
- Achieving training goals set by your line manager in your Personal Development Plan
- Updating and maintaining documentation
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £15,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- 28 days holiday
- Progression opportunities available upon completion of the apprenticeship
