Start your career in IT with COOLSPIRiT! COOLSPIRiT is offering an exciting IT Apprentice role where someone can dive into the world of cybersecurity, networking, data management and cutting-edge technology. They will be working alongside experienced IT professionals, learning how to keep systems running smoothly, protect important data and support customers who rely on COOLSPIRiT every day.
This apprenticeship gives the learner a chance to build real technical skills, gain industry experience and earn while they learn in a supportive and friendly workplace. They will get involved in hands-on tasks with modern tools and devices, help find and fix issues and grow their confidence as an IT specialist.
The role includes 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays, giving them plenty of time to recharge. There are regular team social events where they can get to know colleagues, and best of all, a guaranteed full-time role upon successfully completing the apprenticeship. They will be learning, earning and setting up a strong career path all at the same time.
In this role, you will work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Provide first-line IT support using tools such as Datto, Windows, Event Logs, and Commvault.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software across the organisation.
- Monitor system performance, including servers and network connections, to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support and maintain secure connectivity through VPNs, access points, and network devices.
- Assist in regular data backup and recovery tasks to protect critical information.
- Keep accurate records of issues, fixes, and maintenance activities.
- Work proactively to identify potential system risks and help implement improvements.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Enthusiastic about IT and technology - knowledge of hardware and software is welcomed.
- Great customer service skills - experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- GCSE Grade 5 English and 4 in Maths.

- 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.
