Are you passionate about all things digital and eager to kick-start your career in marketing? General Building Plastics is looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to join their expanding marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and diverse role, supporting our customer website services and wider digital initiatives.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing and Website Manager, you\'ll be an integral part of a collaborative team, contributing to the success of their online presence and marketing campaigns.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketing qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

This role is incredibly varied, offering you the chance to develop a wide range of digital marketing skills. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the marketing team in the delivery of marketing campaigns and managing our social media platforms.
  • Developing and maintaining strong product knowledge across our extensive range of building plastics.
  • Creating and editing presentations, graphics, literature, and other marketing collateral.
  • Becoming an active member of our creative meetings, bringing fresh ideas for new campaigns and designs.
  • Engaging with customers in a professional and transparent manner across social platforms and campaigns, handling queries and concerns.
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns, gaining insights, and assessing them against set goals.
  • Working towards achieving company and client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assisting with web user management, order processing, and other e-commerce support.
  • Providing general marketing and administrative support to the team.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Salary – £16,358.33 per annum
  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (with a 40-minute unpaid lunch break)
  • Minimum of two Saturdays per month: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (paid as overtime)
  • 20 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays
  • Option to buy up to 5 additional days holiday per year
  • Loyalty reward: After two years of service, you\'ll receive an additional day\'s holiday per year, up to a maximum of 5 extra days
  • Access to our company health cashback scheme upon successful completion of your probation period
