As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you'll play an important role in transforming data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. Working closely with our Business Intelligence team, you'll analyse data, develop dashboards and reports, and help identify opportunities to improve performance across the organisation. You’ll develop your technical and analytical skills while working with modern reporting and visualisation tools such as Tableau, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Alongside your day-to-day role, you’ll complete a Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship, applying your learning to real business challenges from day one. On successful completion, you’ll progress into more advanced analytical roles and we’ll support your continued development through a Level 6 Data Science apprenticeship, providing a clear pathway into advanced analytics and machine learning.
As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you will:
- Analyse business performance data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement.
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau for stakeholders across the business.
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and recommend appropriate analytical solutions.
- Investigate data quality issues and work with colleagues to resolve discrepancies.
- Present analytical findings in a clear and meaningful way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support the Data Operations Manager in delivering reporting and analytical projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes, data quality and documentation.
- Maintain awareness of data governance, confidentiality and GDPR requirements.
