Balmoral Tanks Limited is looking for a reliable and motivated General Operative to join our Factory team. This is a hands-on role supporting the production and quality of our products while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining our “Right First Time” culture and supporting our commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Work safely at all times in line with company Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Follow production schedules to meet dispatch and delivery deadlines
- Use electrical grinding tools and automated lifting equipment to load and unload machinery safely
- Carry out general labouring duties within the factory and surrounding areas
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment
- Ensure all tools and equipment are used correctly and responsibly
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Maintain accurate records of personal training and development
- Support other departments and undertake additional duties as required
Who We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a similar factory or manufacturing role is desirable but not essential
