Balmoral Tanks Limited is looking for a reliable and motivated General Operative to join our Factory team. This is a hands-on role supporting the production and quality of our products while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining our “Right First Time” culture and supporting our commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work safely at all times in line with company Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Follow production schedules to meet dispatch and delivery deadlines
  • Use electrical grinding tools and automated lifting equipment to load and unload machinery safely
  • Carry out general labouring duties within the factory and surrounding areas
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are used correctly and responsibly
  • Wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Maintain accurate records of personal training and development
  • Support other departments and undertake additional duties as required

Experience & Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar factory or manufacturing role is desirable but not essential
