Our hotel The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh's most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel's majestic clock defines the city's skyline, and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Being the friendly, confident face behind our reception desk
  • Offering our guests a warm, intuitive, and personalised greeting
  • Overseeing daily front desk operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Working closely with all departments to create a seamless and unique experience for our guests
  • Providing training and support for the front desk team members to ensure they are knowledgeable and efficient
  • Being knowledgeable of the hotel and our products
  • Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
