Our hotel The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh's most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel's majestic clock defines the city's skyline, and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities include working with our talented Chefs who are all passionate about using fresh seasonal produce whilst developing your own skills. You will support the Demi Chef de Partie and the Chef de Partie to ensure the smooth running of a station within our busy Brasserie Prince kitchen and facilitate the flawless delivery of our world-class menus. Duties will range from food preparation and mise-en-place to ensure service is seamless and ensuring health and safety practices are adhered to. Flexibility and an eagerness to learn are key, as you will be expected to support the wider kitchen team as and when required. You will thrive as part of a team, communicating with colleagues with confidence and sensitivity.
