Our hotel The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh's most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel's majestic clock defines the city's skyline, and since the day we opened in 1902 it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in supervising all security operations across the hotel
- Being responsible for the safety and security of our hotel guests and team members
- Managing any security matters with a cool head & decisive action
- Being confident in using various IT systems and working within a security environment
- Supporting the Security Manager with the day-to-day operations
- Assisting with training and compliance matters
- Holding a Door Supervisor SIA License
- Working closely with hotel departments
Other requirements: Advanced First Aid certification is desirable but not mandatory.
