Balmoral Health & Social Care are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Officer for our domiciliary care services. The role will cover all of our Balmoral H&S Care locations which include Ayrshire, Bearsden, Castle Douglas, Dundee, Dumfries, Falkirk, Stranraer and West Lothian.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Care Service Director, Regional Managers and Registered Branch Managers to support the branches within the business in meeting the Companys quality compliance requirements. This will include assisting the branches in reaching their quality compliance standards for both employee and service users, undertaking internal audits, and preparing internal audit reports and ensuring that we maintain a high level of quality care provision.
Job Skills, Qualifications & Education Requirements
Required
Educated to SVQ Level 4 in Social Care Adults compulsory.
SVQ Level 4 Leadership & Management Award compulsory.
A1 Assessor and verifier award non-compulsory.
At least 2 years experience managing a care at home service.
Knowledge/Skills
Comprehensive knowledge of the National Occupational Standards of Care and the Health & Social Care Standards
Internal and external audit experience.
Must understand internal auditing standards and risk assessment practices.
Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent analytical skills.
Sound and robust ICT skills and knowledge
Knowledge and experience within the care sector
The successful candidate must be able to travel effectively between locations and be willing to stay away from home on occasions if required. Both car and travel allowance are included with this role.
