About the job

Join Our Team as a Trainee Export Sales Estimator. As a Trainee Export Sales Estimator you will be involved in the preparation of technical quotations using web-based costing systems, spreadsheet data recording and comparison, telephone calling clients for project updates, CRM system input and updating, and administrative support.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate a safe working environment in line with company policies & procedures.
  • Administrative duties for the Export Sales Department (document control, literature management, exhibition planning, updating and managing sales records).
  • Processing sales related documentation.
  • Estimating export sales enquiries and preparing quotations.
  • Being able to answer client queries regarding their enquiries/orders.
  • Dealing with any information passed on by the sales team.

About you:

  • Mature and customer focused attitude (able to handle difficult discussions and customer complaints) is essential.
  • A belief in the fact that customers are revenue & everything else is overhead is essential.

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings. (Desirable)

  • Must be computer literate particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word and Engineering software packages for which further training will be provided.
