We are currently looking to recruit a Picking / Packing Operator to join our Manufacturing team at Balmoral Tanks Ltd. Working as part of a two‑person team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, inspected, labelled and prepared for despatch to our sites worldwide. This is a hands‑on role that requires excellent attention to detail, a strong focus on quality, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders in line with Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Final inspection of pre‑packed items to ensure accuracy and conformity
- Maintain 100% accuracy in picking, packing, wrapping and labelling to company standards
- Prepare goods and paperwork for despatch, supporting on‑time‑in‑full (OTIF) targets
- Operate forklifts, pump trucks and powered pallet trucks (where trained)
- Load outbound consignments when required
- Maintain live and accurate record‑keeping throughout the process
- Carry out general warehouse duties and participate in stock checks
- Work to strict deadlines, KPIs and productivity targets
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with 5S standards
- Adhere to all health, safety and company policies at all times
- Work collaboratively as part of the wider team, demonstrating company core values

Desirable:
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience
