The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

To assist in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the physical, cognitive and social well-being of residents. To understand the need to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment of all residents.

To work closely as a team member with your colleagues on duty. Identify the needs of residents through reading and contributing to individual care plans using the Caredoc’s system. Document participation and experience and record activity information in residents' care plans.

Support activities, events and outings, encouraging residents and visitors to be involved. Contribute to a balance of large group, small group and individual activities. Assist with building links with the local community e.g. schools, libraries, luncheon clubs.

To be involved in supporting marketing and fundraising initiatives. To work over a seven-day period including unsociable hours, as dictated by the needs of the home and any planned activities or events.

Ensure all communications are undertaken in a courteous and efficient manner at all times and that resident confidentiality is maintained. Commit to respecting the dignity and decisions that residents make with regards to undertaking activities.

Report any changes in a resident’s physical or emotional condition to the Home Manager or Unit Manager. Promote comfort and company on a one-to-one basis, for residents who are unable to participate in any form of activity.

Participate in Resident / Relative meetings as requested by the Home Manager. To be responsible for your own Health & Safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
