The Role:
Main Banker
Responsibilities:
- Maintain adequate levels of coin/currency in the Cashiers' Cage (Vault, Main Bank, and Marker Bank).
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and guests.
- Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensure floor locations are adequately impressed (automated Currency Transaction Kiosks and jackpot machines).
- Verify coin shipments and currency bank deposits for accuracy and timeliness.
- Organize vault contents for easy counting during shift changes.
- Complete all related paperwork, including cash count sheets, coin transfers, bank summaries, and jackpot payout checks.
- Complete currency transaction reports as required by law.
- Reconcile inventories at the end of shifts, including F&B cashier, coin cashier, slot attendant, etc.
- Respond promptly to telephone inquiries.
- Forward end-of-shift and end-of-day paperwork to accounting and respond to inquiries.
- Reconcile automated jackpot machines and CTKs as required.
- Safeguard cash drawers and casino assets.
- Count and verify all Cage transactions at shift start and end.
- Make change and exchange tickets for cash.
- Maintain jet sort equipment and coin bags.
- Maintain accurate cage cash transmittal forms and related paperwork.
- Maintain confidentiality of casino operations data.
- Ensure the integrity of Delaware Gaming equipment and secure assets at all times.
Additional Functions:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Punctuality and ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a DE Lottery license.
- Professional appearance and appropriate attire.
- Ability to plan, organize, and complete work independently.
- High standards of performance.
- Effective communication and learning ability regarding job duties.
- Basic knowledge of relevant concepts and techniques.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
