Permanent position based in Canary Wharf, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, taking personal pride in everything that you do.
- Work hard to develop trusted working relationships.
- Operate within all relevant laws, legislation and obligations applicable to our sector.
- Understand the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 & Building Safety Act 2022 legislation, health & safety and employment legislation, as well as obligations covered under the leases and management agreements.
- Monitor consistent execution of all operational policies and procedures and recommend changes to improve overall functionality of the business.
- Work with the Head of Property to develop and implement strategies to ensure the developments are managed and maintained to the highest standard.
- Make each interaction a positive and lasting one, delivering outstanding service and memorable experiences at all times.
- Keep close to key stakeholders, supporting, listening and responding to the needs of our people, our residents and the business.
- Ensure the assets are managed in accordance with the client’s and BAML business plan key objectives, service charge budget and capital expenditure plan.
- Work with other team members to ensure regular liaison with the residents and clients regarding the management of residential and commercial units within the development, ensuring that KPI’s and reporting requirements are met.
- Support the Heads of Property in reviewing the annual service charge budgets and accounts in line with requirements and Company procedures.
- Participate actively in all appropriate company-wide meetings and events.
- Support with content and collation of reports.
- Support client reporting process to ensure accurate and professional reports are issued consistently on time.
Required skills and experience:
- Strong track record of working collaboratively, diplomatically and effectively with a wide range of people.
- Strong leadership skills developed in a management environment.
- Knowledge of landlord and tenant & building safety legislation and associated regulations.
- TPI and/or RICS qualified.
