We're now recruiting for a Security Valet Officer to join us at New Providence Wharf, a luxury residential development in London. This role is part of our Estates Team and supports security and concierge functions.
Important Information
- Hours: 7:00 – 19:00 & 19:00 – 7:00
- Shift Pattern: 4 on – 4 off
- Location: E14, Canary Wharf
- Salary: £14.48 per hour
- Contract: 42 hours per week, permanent
What You'll Do
- Always maintain a safe environment for all people in the estate, including a constant Security presence.
- Meet and greet all residents, guests and clients around the estate.
- Communicate with Concierge and assist with smooth running of the site.
- Record and follow up on any unusual behaviour, calling the police if necessary.
- Maintain regular communication with control and ensure a quick response to any incident.
- Conduct building rounds & PES patrols of the site as part of daily tasks.
- Report Security/Health and Safety issues or incidents accurately and archive all onsite records, including police liaison.
- Ensure that all requests and enquiries (both in person and by telephone) are dealt with efficiently, timely and professionally.
- Review and maintain policies, company rules and Ballymore quality standards as part of the Estates Team.
- Provide support and shift cover for Valet and Concierge functions when necessary.
- Deliver a bespoke 5-star service to residents, handling tasks and requests efficiently.
- Report any accidents in the accident report book and immediately alert the Security Manager & Shift Manager for serious incidents.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding residents, Ballymore business and personnel.
- Give clear and precise handovers, highlighting events and vehicle details.
- Ensure all firefighting apparatus is accounted for and maintained.
- Report cleaning or maintenance issues around the estate.
- Report all emergencies, lease breaches, serious defects or formal complaints to the SM.
- Other duties as required.

- SIA Licence.
- Previous experience in a Security role.
