Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday
Responsible for leading Operations and Asset Management, ensuring high-quality property management, facilities and asset management, estate and standards, and procurement functions. Accountable for driving operational excellence, service quality, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction, compliance, and long-term asset performance through strategic leadership and effective cross-functional delivery.
Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
Operations & Asset Management Strategy: Develop and implement strategies that optimise property performance, operational resilience, service quality, and long-term asset value.
Property Management: Oversee property management performance, ensuring consistent service delivery, customer focus, compliance, and effective management of operational risks.
Facilities & Asset Management: Lead facilities and asset management activity to maintain safe, efficient, compliant, and well-performing buildings and infrastructure.
Estate & Standards: Set, monitor, and maintain estate standards, ensuring quality, consistency, statutory compliance, and alignment with the organisation’s customer and brand expectations.
Procurement: Deliver best value through effective procurement of services, robust supplier management, contract performance oversight, and strong commercial governance.
Leadership: Lead and motivate Property Management, Facilities & Asset Management, Estate & Standards, and Procurement teams to deliver operational and asset management objectives.
Client & Customer Focus: Improve customer experience by ensuring services are responsive, efficient, well-managed, and aligned with customer needs across the estate.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Have significant senior leadership experience within the property industry, with proven responsibility for operations, asset management, property management, facilities management and service delivery across complex estates or mixed-use portfolios.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget ownership, service charge management, cost control, procurement oversight, contract negotiation and delivery of value-for-money outcomes.
- Show excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the credibility to influence at Board, executive, resident, occupier, supplier and regulatory levels.
- Hold relevant professional qualification or membership, such as RICS, IWFM, TPI, IRPM or equivalent property, facilities, asset management or leadership accreditation (desirable)
