The predicted salary is between 60000 - 75000 € per year.

Permanent position based in Canary Wharf, working hours are 08:00am – 17:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The role

Working closely with and under the direction of the Senior Development Manager, you will manage the delivery of developments from the commencement of physical construction through to completion, handover and transition into Estates and Asset Management. You will act as a central point of coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that programme, cost, quality, sustainability and commercial objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage development delivery from the start of construction through phased and final handover, liaising with Construction, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Estates and Asset Management teams.
  • Develop and manage detailed development programmes, driving project teams to achieve agreed milestones and outcomes.
  • Oversee project governance, including preparation of recommendations and securing internal approvals.
  • Build and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, agreeing required resources with relevant department directors.
  • Develop, maintain, monitor and report against development appraisals, programmes and budgets.
  • Identify, shortlist, competitively procure and appoint external consultants, in consultation with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure progressive internal design sign‑off at key project stages.
  • Monitor construction costs, risk and procurement to ensure alignment with project aspirations.
  • Work closely with the Project Financial Controller to oversee financial planning and reporting.
  • Develop and implement a sustainability strategy aligned with corporate and project objectives.
  • Monitor town planning strategy, risks and negotiations in conjunction with planning teams and consultants.
  • Lead negotiations with external stakeholders, local authorities and partners.
  • Manage public consultation, community engagement and stakeholder events.
  • Collaborate with commercial and/or residential teams on sales, lettings, marketing strategy and tenant requirements.
  • Ensure project appraisals remain accurate and up‑to‑date, with changes clearly reported.
  • Coordinate monthly project reporting for the Ballymore Executive Committee.
  • Ensure design intent and project ambitions are maintained through procurement and construction.
  • Manage commercial tenant interfaces and ensure their requirements are delivered effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in residential development and delivery.
  • Knowledge of Environmental and Social Governance.
  • Broad knowledge base of the development business essential.
  • Experience or good knowledge of different building types and development process.
  • Understanding of working in partnership or joint venture.
  • Foster effective communication within the project team.
  • Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong prioritisation and decision making skills.
  • Round knowledge of construction process.
