Job Description

We're now recruiting for a Security Officer to join us at our development, Royal Wharf!\\n\\nWhat you should know\\n\\nRoyal Wharf is large, modern development with 3,385 homes, it offers amenities such as a concierge service, gym/swimming pool, landscaped park and riverside walk.\\n\\nImportant to note\\n\\nHours: 7:00 – 19:00 / Days & 19:00 – 7:00 / Nights (you will be required to work both day & night shifts in this role)\\n\\nShift Pattern: 4 on – 4 off\\n\\nLocation: E16, Silvertown\\n\\nSalary per hour: Β£13.49\\n\\nContract: 42 hpw/permanent\\n\\nWhat you'll be doing\\n\\n * \\n\\n Always maintain a safe environment for all people in the estate, including a constant Security presence.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure any unusual behaviour recorded is followed up, calling the police if necessary.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Communicate with control regularly and ensure there is a quick response to any incident.\\n\\n * \\n\\n To include building rounds & PES patrols of the site, in the daily tasks.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Correct reporting of any Security / Health and Safety issues or incidents and archiving of all onsite records, including police liaison.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Provide a bespoke 5-star service to residents with tasks and individual requests dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Reporting of any accidents within the accident report book. All serious incidents are to be escalated to both the General Manager & Duty Managers immediately.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain confidentiality at all times concerning residents and Ballymore business and its personnel.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Give clear and precise up to date information during and at the end of the shift highlighting any event that has occurred, any forthcoming events together with a clear and precise hand over of any vehicles in the car park.\\n\\n * \\n\\n All emergencies, breaches of the lease, serious defects or any matter likely to be subject of formal complaints are reported to the GM.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Monitor CCTV cameras pro-actively, to detect any security related incidents.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Only permit authorised personnel into FCC/Control Room, using log in/out form.\\n\\nPlease note: a full job description will be provided once shortlisted for the role.\\n\\nWhat you'll need to be successful\\n\\n * \\n\\n SIA Licence.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Previous experience in a similar Security position.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Patience and the ability to remain clam in stressful situations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Thinking and reasoning skills for dealing with emergencies.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to work well with others.\\n\\nWhat now?\\n\\nVery simply – Apply!\\n\\nNot what you’re looking for?\\n\\nCheck out our careers page.\\n\\n*Ballymore operate as an equal opportunities' employer
