Join Our Team as a Part-Time Loans Officer

Location: Primarily Antrim (with occasional travel to Ballymena, Coleraine or Randalstown)

Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible schedule available)

Salary: £12.60 – £14.20 per hour depending on experience

What Youll Be Doing
As a Loans Officer, youll be a trusted guide for our members through the lending journeyfrom the first conversation to loan approval. Youll play a key role in keeping our lending operations running smoothly, while supporting our mission to offer fair, accessible financial solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Member Engagement
Deliver friendly, professional service every time
Support local marketing and community outreach efforts
Maintain member confidentiality and trust
Lending Operations
Assess and process loan applications fairly and efficiently
Meet with members to discuss their needs and offer guidance
Make lending decisions within your delegated authority
Communicate loan outcomes clearly and supportively

Teamwork & Compliance
Work closely with our credit and operations teams
Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
Promote best practice in lending and member support
Participate in ongoing training (including working toward the Pathways Certificate in Credit Union Practice)
