We are working with a leading Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK and are looking to recruit:

  • 2 x HSE Managers
  • 2 x HSE Advisors

These are immediate starts on long-term flagship civil engineering projects, offering excellent career progression, competitive packages, and accommodation where required.

The Role

You will play a key role in driving health, safety and environmental standards across large-scale infrastructure works, ensuring compliance while promoting a positive safety culture throughout the project.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enforce HSE compliance across site operations.
  • Carry out site inspections, audits and safety tours.
  • Produce reports, investigations and corrective actions.
  • Support operational teams with risk assessments and method statements.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and site briefings.
  • Ensure compliance with all current HSE legislation and company procedures.
  • Work closely with project teams to continually improve site safety performance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (minimum).
  • Relevant HSE qualifications (NVQ/Diploma desirable).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Tier 1 contractor experience is highly desirable.
