Job Description
Are you an experienced Finance Officer – Payables who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? Do you take pride in accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial controls?
We’re seeking a skilled professional to join our amazing Finance Team, where your work will play a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly and supporting our purpose of Inspiring Healthy and Happy Living.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strong supplier relationships. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement and broader finance support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile high-volume supplier invoices with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage accounts payable enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Prepare and complete payment runs in line with policies and supplier terms
- Verify and process expense reimbursements
- Maintain accurate supplier records and financial data
- Support month-end processes, audits, and compliance activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk management
- Assist with accounts receivable, reconciliations, and other finance functions as required

About You
You’re detail-oriented, reliable, and confident working with numbers and systems.
- Proven experience in high-volume accounts payable
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships
Highly Desirable:
- Experience presenting financial data clearly and practically
- Exposure to OCR (Optical Character Recognition) systems
- Understanding of audit, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Awareness of financial risk and improvement opportunities
- Tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting
- Experience in not-for-profit, aged care, wellness, or disability sectors.
