Job Description

About the role

As a Qualified HomeCare Support Worker, you will be part of a caring and inclusive team supporting older adults to maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing in their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to build connection, create trust, and make a genuine difference.

You will primarily support clients in (but not limited to):

• Doncaster
• Whittlesea
• Coburg

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and mobility support with dignity and compassion
• Assist with daily living tasks and community activities that promote independence
• Support clients to achieve personal goals and remain socially connected
• Transport clients to appointments or social outings (kilometres reimbursed)
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure positive client outcomes

Desired Skills and Experience

About you

You will bring:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Community) or be a nursing student with an aged care placement completed
• Experience in aged care or community services
• A compassionate, reliable nature and a genuine passion for supporting others
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Registered, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations highly recommended
