Accounting & Finance
- Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation and month-end closing
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and cash flow forecasts
- Monitor daily sales takings, credit card settlements, and marketplace payouts (Shopee/Lazada, etc.)
- Track inventory costing, stock valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Process staff claims, petty cash, and supplier payments in a timely manner
Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and submit GST returns and ensure compliance with IRAS requirements
- Assist in corporate tax computation and liaise with tax agents/auditors
- Ensure proper documentation and filing in accordance with statutory requirements
Retail Operations Support
- Reconcile POS system sales with accounting records
- Manage supplier invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and price protection claims
- Support consignment, trade-in, and promotional accounting matters
- Monitor inventory discrepancies and work closely with operations team
Audit & Reporting
- Assist in annual audit preparation and provide supporting schedules
- Maintain proper accounting records and internal controls
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required by management
Requirements / Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2β3 years of relevant accounting experience (retail experience preferred)
- Knowledge of GST and Singapore accounting standards
- Familiar with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, SAP) and Excel
- Experience handling inventory-heavy retail businesses is an advantage
