Balloo Inns is Northern Ireland's most prestigious group of Food Pubs, we love pubs and we love food. We run The Parson's Nose, which is a relaxed Gastro-pub serving multi-award winning food since 2009. To add to our already beautiful Georgian pub, we have just opened a busy 60 seat outdoor heated dining terrace and beer garden which is unique to the area. We have remained busy despite lockdown, and we are proud of the fact that we haven't lost a single member of the 130 strong team to redundancy. We pride ourselves in taking care of people.

We need to recruit a Sous Chef who can fit in with a motivated, talented and friendly team. Requirements will include:

  • 1 year's experience in a similar Kitchen role.
  • Ideally you will have a good knowledge of all areas of kitchen food preparation.
  • You should have an outstanding standard of cleanliness.
  • A high level of pride in your work and a desire to improve.
  • Be able to coach and encourage those who work alongside you.
  • Honest and trustworthy.
  • Willing to learn from an experienced team.
  • Own transport necessary.
