Due to expansion in the team, we have a new opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Sales Representative to join our friendly and successful sales team. Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. Balloo Hire Centres is part of The Briggs Equipment Group and therefore can offer a local solution with corporate level support.
In This Role You Will Be:
- Maintaining and growing existing key accounts
- Implementing a planned process of visits to existing customers to ensure a high level of customer service is attained
- Ensuring customer retention is achieved and developed
- Ensuring administration of key accounts is kept up to date and accurate
- Liaising with key customer accounts team, to ensure invoices are settled promptly
- Identifying possible new areas for sales, establishing, and maintaining relationships with potential clients
- Securing stock on behalf of customers and arrange for transportation of same
- Developing and maintaining pricing structure for key accounts
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers
- Managing territory through market intelligence to maximise the use of equipment
What Will Help You To Excel In This Role:
- Sales experience ideally within plant and tool hire, material handling, logistics, warehousing or construction (however not essential)
- Demonstrable experience of organising and prioritising a demanding workload
- Ability to engage with customers and have excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and develop with the business
- Full clean driving licence
