Hours: 45 hours
Balloo Hire Centres are a leading provider of tool, plant, and welfare equipment hire for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. They are part of The Briggs Equipment Group, offering a local solution with corporate level support. We have a new opportunity for a Plant Fitter to join our friendly team in Lisburn.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and repairing a range of plant equipment in the workshop
- Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and pre‑delivery inspection of equipment
- Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed
- Adhering to safety guidelines and all policies set out by customers and Balloo Hire
- Ensuring parts are ordered in line with company policy to meet strict deadlines
- Maintaining and developing customer relationships through high standards of service
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles
- The ability to work independently
- The ability to manage and prioritise workload
