Contract: Permanent

Location: Dungannon

Hours: 45 Monday – Friday (including every other Saturday AM)

Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. Balloo Hire Centres is part of The Briggs Equipment Group and therefore can offer a local solution with corporate level support. We have a new opportunity for a Yard Operative to join our team in Dungannon.

In This Role You Will Be:

  • Ensuring that welfare units and portable toilets are cleaned and checked ready for customer hire.
  • Communicating with internal teams regarding the receiving and dispatch of equipment.
  • Maintaining clean and safe onsite yard area.
  • Adhering to all company health and safety procedures.
  • Working as an effective member of the welfare team.
  • Assisting in loading and unloading of equipment.
  • Ensuring safe working practices are followed and yard is kept moving.
  • Directing customers to safe parking/loading areas.

What Will Help You To Excel In This Role:

  • Forklift truck licence (desirable however not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
