Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. Balloo Hire Centres is part of The Briggs Equipment Group and therefore can offer a local solution with corporate level support. We have a new opportunity for a Yard Operative to join our team in Nutts Corner.
In this role you will be:
- Ensuring that welfare units and portable toilets are cleaned and checked ready for customer hire.
- Communicating with internal teams regarding the receiving and dispatch of equipment.
- Maintaining clean and safe onsite yard area.
- Adhering to all company health and safety procedures.
- Working as an effective member of the welfare team.
- Assisting in loading and unloading of equipment.
- Ensuring safe working practices are followed and yard is kept moving.
- Directing customers to safe parking/loading areas.
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Forklift truck licence (desirable however not essential).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent customer service skills.
