Due to expansion in the team, we have a new opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Mobile Hire Coordinator to join our team. Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. We are part of The Briggs Equipment Group, offering a local solution with corporate-level support.

Purpose of the role: To ensure that Briggs Equipment core values are central to each task carried out on a daily basis. Accurate and effective management of deliveries/collections of all equipment for hire at any depot. Assist and support sales and operational teams.

Main accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Set up hire agreements and allocate equipment in line with internal processes.
  • Coordinate pre-hire inspections with service and yard teams.
  • Plan and schedule equipment deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure equipment is prepared and ready for dispatch before delivery.
  • Raise and manage hire contracts accurately, including on/off hire dates in the system.
  • Close off and invoice all off-hired contracts before month end.
  • Monitor equipment availability, resolving technical issues quickly with service teams.
  • Produce timely hire quotes and share sales opportunities and lost leads with the development team.
  • Support the sales team to meet customer requirements and identify new product opportunities.
  • Assist with customer satisfaction surveys and maintain high service standards.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide regular delivery/collection updates.
  • Work towards targets set by the area manager.
  • Produce daily/weekly KPI reports.
  • Adhere to health & safety policies, including correct PPE and personal responsibility for safety.
