Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland.
Balloo Hire Centres is part of The Briggs Equipment Group and therefore can offer a local solution with corporate level support.
Our depot operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
We are looking for Casual Yard Operatives to support our Bangor depot on a flexible casual basis.
This role is ideal for individuals who are available to work during these operating hours and are seeking a flexible working arrangement.
This is a casual worker position with no guaranteed minimum hours. Work will be offered on an as-required basis to support business needs.
In this role you will be
- Coordinate equipment deliveries, dispatches, and yard operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard environment.
- Assist with loading/unloading and direct customers safely on site.
- Follow health and safety procedures while supporting the welfare team
What will help you to excel in this role
- Forklift truck licence (desirable however not essential).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent customer service skills.
