Sales Representative Contract: Permanent

Salary: Competitive + Commission + Company Vehicle

Do you have sales experience within plant and tool hire, material handling, logistics, warehousing, or construction? Do you have enthusiasm and passion to grow and maintain your own key accounts? Are you looking for a new opportunity in a growing and exciting business?

Due to expansion in the team, we have a new opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Sales Representative to join our friendly and successful sales team. Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. Balloo Hire Centres is part of The Briggs Equipment Group and therefore can offer a local solution with corporate level support.

In this role you will be:

  • Maintaining and growing existing key accounts
  • Implementing a planned process of visits to existing customers to ensure a high level of customer service is attained.
  • Ensuring administration of key accounts is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Liaising with key customer accounts team, to ensure invoices are settled promptly.
  • Identifying possible new areas for sales, establishing, and maintaining relationships with potential clients.
  • Developing and maintaining pricing structure for key accounts.
  • Managing territory through market intelligence to maximise the use of equipment.

What will help you to excel in this role:

  • Sales experience ideally within plant and tool hire, material handling, logistics, warehousing or construction (however not essential)
  • Demonstrable experience of organising and prioritising a demanding workload
  • Ability to engage with customers and have excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and develop with the business.
  • Full clean driving licence
