Contract: Permanent

Location: Belfast with travel required across NI.

Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. Balloo Hire Centres is part of The Briggs Equipment Group and therefore can offer a local solution with corporate level support.

Support the Head of Operations in delivering the business growth strategy across STH, sales, and transport. Develop and train workshop and admin staff to ensure competency and support progression. Use our business IT system (InspHire) to identify efficiency opportunities and assist in setting departmental budgets and targets.

What will help you to excel in this role:

  • Extensive experience managing people at a departmental level, including performance management, training and team development.
  • Solid understanding of plant hire operations, including proficiency with hire-industry IT systems and the ability to analyse operational reports, budgets, and departmental performance targets.
