Galway Plant and Tool Hire (GPT) is one of Ireland's largest and most successful plant and commercial vehicle hire specialists. We have 8 branches nationwide, serving the needs of both public and private sector customers. GPT is part of The Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across Ireland and the UK.
In this role you will be:
- Answering the telephone and directing calls to the correct team member/department
- Ensuring machines are serviced before going out on hire
- Working collaboratively with team members within the service team and other departments
- Liaising with customers keeping them updated on progress of work
- Supporting the depot with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Developing and maintaining an effective filing system
