Based in Birmingham, Worcester, and Droitwich, Ballards is a progressive firm of chartered accountants helping businesses and private clients achieve stronger financial performance through integrated tax, audit, and consultancy expertise. Due to continued growth across the Ballards group of companies, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team and play a key role in attracting and securing high-quality talent across the business.

Supporting Ballards, Four Squared Recruitment and CreativeFolks, you will manage the full end-to-end recruitment process, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand resourcing needs and deliver a seamless and efficient hiring experience. This is a varied and hands-on role where you will proactively identify, attract and engage both active and passive candidates to support the group’s continued growth.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the talent strategy of a growing group of businesses while building strong relationships across the organisation. As the first point of contact for recruitment across the group, you will oversee every stage of the hiring process – from sourcing and screening through to interviews, offers and onboarding – ensuring a positive candidate experience and successful appointments across a wide range of roles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle across the group, from sourcing through to offer and onboarding
  • Partnering with managers, directors and partners to understand hiring needs and role requirements
  • Proactively sourcing candidates through job boards, social platforms, LinkedIn and other talent channels
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with active and passive candidates to develop talent pipelines
  • Supporting hiring managers with CV screening, interview coordination, and selection processes
  • Providing guidance on recruitment best practices, interview techniques and candidate engagement
  • Managing relationships with external recruitment partners where required
  • Facilitating the offer process, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal requirements
  • Coordinating onboarding for new starters, including induction planning and departmental introductions
  • Maintaining accurate records of candidate activity and recruitment processes
  • Monitoring recruitment progress and keeping both candidates and hiring managers informed
  • Continuously reviewing and improving recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience

About You

As an organised and proactive recruitment professional, you will enjoy building relationships and delivering a positive candidate experience. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be confident managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously. You will bring:

  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, either in-house or within a recruitment agency
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers
  • Experience sourcing candidates through a range of channels, including LinkedIn and online platforms
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-moving environment
