About the School Leaver Programme
Our Private Client Tax School Leaver Programme is designed to help you build a successful career in tax without going to university.
You\’ll join our Private Client Tax team and gain hands-on experience from day one. Your role will involve supporting the preparation of personal tax returns, capital gains tax calculations, and working with HMRC. As you grow in confidence and knowledge, you\’ll begin assisting with tax planning, client queries, and advisory work.
Alongside practical experience, you\’ll study towards the ATT and CTA qualifications. Your training will be fully funded by Ballards, with dedicated study support, mentoring, and guidance from experienced colleagues to help you succeed.
About You
We\’re looking for motivated and ambitious school leavers who are keen to learn and interested in tax and finance.
You\’ll need:
- Strong academic results (A-levels and GCSEs or equivalent)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- An interest in helping people understand and manage their finances
No previous tax experience is required – we\’ll teach you everything you need to know.
