A leading UK professional services organisation is looking to hire an Azure Cloud Engineer into their existing infrastructure team of 8. They now have a need for an Azure expert to join the team to complement the skillsets of the existing team members.
Specifically you'll have experience with the following:
- Tenants and Subscriptions
- Cloud Adoption Framework / Azure Landing Zones
- Azure architecture
- Azure Entra ID (Enterprise applications, conditional access etc)
- Azure storage accounts
- Azure Virtual Machines
- Azure networking
- Azure performance, security and cost management
You will have designed, implemented and configured Azure cloud environments using a Microsoft adoption framework on either a direct or consultancy basis previously. An understanding, and knowledge of, M365 apps (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive etc.) is required; however, you will collaborate with a counterpart Cloud Engineer who looks after projects in this area.
You'll be comfortable gathering requirements and speaking with stakeholders from multiple business areas and have a real passion for delivering best-in-class solutions. As an expert Cloud Engineer, you'll also have previously had experience with on-prem tech such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware and Veeam.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
