A growing technology organisation is hiring a Graduate Cybersecurity Developer / Graduate Cyber Security Engineer to join a modern security engineering team. This role is ideal for a graduate or early-career technologist looking to build hands‑on experience across cyber security, automation, Python development, cloud infrastructure, APIs and incident response.
You will work alongside experienced engineers delivering security automation and software solutions that protect enterprise systems and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Python automation scripts to support security operations and incident response.
- Support security tooling and automation platforms used within a Security Operations (SOC) environment.
- Assist with configuration and maintenance of Linux-based systems, security hardening and patching.
- Build and support API integrations between internal systems and third‑party security tools.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure integrations and system design activities.
- Assist with incident detection, investigation and response automation.
- Produce technical documentation and operational runbooks.
- Keep up to date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities and security best practices.
- Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar.
- Programming experience with Python (commercial, academic or personal projects).
- Understanding of cyber security fundamentals, secure coding and basic networking concepts.
