New Role - QA Auditor Role based Near Elland / West Yorkshire

£30,000 - £35,000 + BONUS

As a QA Auditor, you’ll be right at the heart of that journey.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out daily checks to uphold BRCGS Food Safety Standards.
  • Working closely with Production and other teams to ensure issues are recorded, communicated, and resolved.
  • Conducting goods-in inspections, raw material checks, and finished product verifications.
  • Ensuring HACCP principles are followed and CCPs are monitored and verified.
  • Completing internal audits and reporting findings clearly and accurately.
  • Sampling, testing, and monitoring materials throughout the process flow.
  • Supporting hygiene, housekeeping, allergen controls, and traceability across the site.
  • Maintaining QAS documentation, trackers, and compliance records.
  • Providing support during external audits, customer visits, and regulatory inspections.

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for ensuring that all products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role supports compliance with BRCGS and HACCP requirements through inspections, audits, testing, and documentation.

Experience & qualifications

  • Level 2 or 3 Food Safety qualification (or equivalent).
  • HACCP training/certification desirable.
  • Internal auditing experience or training preferred.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing / FMCG is essential.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and QA systems.
  • Knowledge of allergen management, traceability, and CCP monitoring is an advantage.
